Not every reason for coming to therapy has a diagnosis attached to it.
Moving country, becoming a parent, separation, changing career, children growing up, starting again, changes in identity or simply realising that the life you built no longer feels quite right can leave you in unfamiliar territory.
This is an area I connect with personally as well as professionally. My own experiences of relocation, adapting to another culture, learning new languages, motherhood and significant life changes have shaped the therapist I am today.
They have also taught me not to assume that I know what change means to somebody else.
Working together
Who are you becoming?
Therapy can give us space to look at what you are leaving behind, what you want to carry forward and what may now need to change.
Sometimes that means grieving an old chapter. Sometimes it means questioning expectations you have lived by for years. Sometimes it is simply having somewhere to admit:
I don't know what comes next.
You don't need to know.
We can start there.
A space for you
Where we meet.
A place to begin
Let’s start with a conversation.
You don’t need to know exactly where to start. We can talk about what is bringing you to therapy and see whether working together feels right.
